I was called out for work at Hotel Milo. Their laundry room is very well put together. I decide where I stay based on the state of their laundry machines and room. It was great, I felt very comfortable staying here. Decided on getting my hotel room there because of the beautiful location and rooms and earlier mentioned comment on my job there. My stay was spectacular! Me and my partner stayed in the ocean view king room in building 2, overlooking the beach. The view was fantastic, I believe the front desks staff name was Johnathan or Jacob. He was extremely polite and helped us at every turn. The valet went above and beyond delivering our luggage to our room upstairs. The amenities were great and staff helped us when we had some minor hiccups during our checkout and were very accommodating. The ocean view king room has recently been renovated. The pillows and bed were the comfiest I’ve experienced in many different hotel stays. They also have a s’mores bar from 6pm-8pm, although we missed it this stay we will definitely be coming back to visit the Milo when we’re in the area!

Overall rating: 4.6 Visiting from NYC I found this spot because my usual place was sold out. Cute boutique hotel but I didn’t realize I was staying in a solo spot which was cool. The lights did not work at all & when I reported it, they said they would come by and fix it and they did not.. I ended up relying on my flashlight along with lamps. The bed and bathroom lighting was impeccable, but I don’t think the staff was used to my east coast personality. I had a lot of questions every day, and some were nice - but others were not. Very mixed bag. That said, this place deserves more than a 3.5 rating

We loved our brief stay at The Milo. The room was clean and well kept, the service was fast and friendly. Our room looked out to the pier it was such a nice view with lots of light from the large 3 windows. We hope to return in the future!

The Milo is the perfect location, with an easy walk to State Street, across from the beach, the wharf and a short walk to Shoreline park. The grounds are aesthetic and rooms charming and comfortable. Thi is my regular stop in Santa Barbara.

The room and views took my breath away! Unbeatable on price for the location, standard of room, and quality of service. All the staff were super friendly and quick to help out. Some tips: valet parking entrance is just east of 212 W Cabrillo Blvd, turn off the street under the roof; best breakfast experience in the world is available from Chad's Cafe, right next door. I'd love to stay again.

Excellent location across from the marina, close to stearn wharf. Not a great beach for swimming. valet, $40 per day. No self parking on property. Complementary bike use is a great perk for exploring the town. Rooms are clean and nicely done. Coffee in room and 2 bottled waters with refill available.

Stayed at The Milo for our wedding weekend, along with about 40 of our guests. We reached about out a year before our wedding and they gave us a discount code as they don't do room blocks. As an added bonus- during Black Friday/cyber Monday they had a 30% off sale so a lot of us got a great deal! I am beyond happy we chose to stay here. I had rented the Potter Room as a getting ready suite for wedding day and the hotel staff gave us the king suite right above this room without us even asking. This made it really easy to run up and down on wedding day. We had an issue with our electricity going out when I used my hairdryer but we could easily text the front desk and they were quick to have someone fix it, also quick to offer us a different room. We saw a ton of different rooms and they were all so clean and comfortable. We had stayed at another hotel at a similar price point in SB a few weeks earlier and The Milo felt MUCH cleaner/nicer. The property is GORGEOUS. We took pictures on site day of wedding and there were so many beautiful backdrops. And as we took pics, there happened to be a live musician playing the guitar?! Just perfect. The location is incredible. Throughout the weekend we had events on state street, funk zone, and chartered a boat out of the marina. I did not need to uber one time because everything was walkable. Also having Jeannines (the best breakfast spot in town) down the street was amazing. We/our guests went daily. An additional bonus of this hotel for a wedding weekend is that it is right up next to a neighborhood with plenty of great Airbnbs. We had a few guests with babies/in-laws in town and they were still very close to us-- just a few minutes walk. The family suites were great- kids had a separate room with a door. The room had bunk beds in it and enough room for a crib as well. Kids loved the s'mores at night. The overall 4/5 stars it currently has is inaccurate in my opinion- I would give them 6 stars if I could! I would strongly re

The Milo has been a delightful find! As locals that travel the 30 miles north from Ventura to getaway for the past 44 years, we have stayed at many hotels in Santa Barbara. The rooms are a bit lacking in size and updates but the bed and pillows were beyond reproach. The housekeeping was fabulous and the staff simply better than the finest hotels. The location is spot on with easy access to the happenings of State Street and the harbor and pier. The invite for amazing complimentary music, the s'mores, the hot chocolate and the gelato cart we're all special.

Great location, across the street from the beach and centered between Stearn's warf and SB harbor, both easy walks. Same with proximity to The Funk Zone and beachfront restaurants. Rooms are very clean and ours was big enough, though the bathroom was a bit tight. Service is excellent and the staff is curteous and very attentive to requests. There are several firepits that they turn on at night, very serene. Considering the prime location, prices are very reasonable. The only issue is that the hotel's only option for parking is valet ($40/night-waved if with disabled placard/pates). The valet service is excellent. The other option for parking is on the main street (Cabrillo), which may be tricky in full season. Would go again for sure.
